Jimmy Fallon had “Parks and Recreation” star Nick Offerman on his show last night to promote his new play “Confederacy of Dunces,” and the visit wouldn’t feel complete without Offerman enjoying a bunch of meat and booze.
“I’m playing a very fat man in this play,” Offerman explained, “so to put on the weight I have a regimen going of some of my favorite fatty meats, and I thought your viewers could work them into their own fall schedule. I have a three-part plan laid out.”
They proceeded to enjoy bratwursts with cheese curds and single malt scotch, a turducken-fed pork dish called “The Flying Pig” with more single malt scotch, and finally, bread baked around a giant kielbasa, which they shared “Lady and the Tramp” style.
All of it looked incredibly delicious to me, and now I’m regretting the healthy vegetable-laden sandwich I brought for lunch.
