Song Played on One Guitar Fret

Pretty much everything has been done on YouTube at this point. (This is likely an entirely untrue statement, but sometimes it feels like it.) So what, as a YouTube musician, do you do to challenge yourself?

Write a song that you play only using one guitar fret, apparently.

Rob Scallon took to the challenge, and succeeded quite masterfully, creating a song that’s actually probably more diverse musically than a lot of what’s currently on the radio. Which is no dig at our wonderful pop-fueled world, but he could have settled for something a lot easier, and instead he truly rose to the challenge. It’s worth a listen (and apparently next week he’s going to write a song using EVERY fret).
