Why utilize an entire orchestra when you could just play each instruments part on the electric guitar, instead?
Okay, that’s not really the thesis of this awesome YouTube video, but it could be. Obviously we’ve seen the main Star Wars theme covered in a thousand different ways by a million different people at this point in life, but hearing every single part be played by the same instrument isn’t one I’ve personally come across before. It may or may not be your cup of tea, but if you give it a watch, there’s no denying that matching up the orchestral versions, particularly in certain spots, clearly takes a lot of talent.
Next, just cover ALL the music from ALL the films with an electric guitar, right? We’ve still got another 11 days to kill before The Force Awakens, anyway…
