Here’s Why You Don’t Give Ball-Shaped Ornaments to Toddlers

It’s a cute idea right – sit your adorable little boy in the living room near the Christmas tree and film him as he helps you put a shiny glass ornament on a branch. These are the sweet memories you’ll want to capture forever.

Problem is, any other time this kid has been given a box with a shiny round thing in it, it’s been a bouncy ball for him to play with. So it made perfect sense for him to chuck the thing straight for the hardwood floor.

The good news is it made a really satisfying smash, the boy didn’t immediately break down into tears and now this family’s on America’s Funniest Home Videos. We’ll call it a win.
