  • The next time you’re out with your family getting some greasy chicken sandwiches from Chick-Fil-A, try putting your damn phone down and having a real conversation like a human being.

Besides, all that grease will get all over your touchscreen and that’s such a hassle.

Here’s how it works: the restaurant is offering their customers a “Cell Phone Coop,” a box you use to shut away your phone so you can have meaningful conversations with your family members instead of checking Facebook. (Hopefully your family isn’t discussing how much they agreed with Chick-Fil-A donating money to anti-gay organizations back in the day.)

If you can make it all the way through the meal without reaching for your phone, each member of your family will receive a small Icedream cone.

Georgia Chick-fil-A operator Brad Williams says the challenge is a hit:

“We have families who aren’t successful the first time and come back to try again. We even have people asking to take the boxes home with them! Our whole community is talking about it.”
