It’s St. Patrick’s Day, and you know what that means – lots of drunken partying, green-colored everything, and a huge spike in people searching for leprechaun porn on Pornhub.
Y’all are weird, guys.
Figures released by the popular adult film site show that searches for the word “leprechaun” increase by about 8,000% on St. Patrick’s Day. I don’t know if these people are looking for porn featuring regular-sized people dressed in leprechaun costumes or sex featuring little people or what, but this isn’t something I feel comfortable researching at work.
Go to Pornhub and look it up yourself – everyone else will, apparently.
Maybe another explanation is that leprechauns actually exist and this is the one day of the year when they can safely indulge their porn addictions.
It doesn’t just stop with leprechauns, though. Pornhub also revealed that searches general St. Patrick’s Day porn went up by 6,000%, and searches for the word “Irish” were up 2,000%. Other popular search terms include “irish creampie,” “irish anal” and “irish lesbian.”
Pornhub even gets a small bump in traffic from Ireland – Irish customers visited the site 5% more on St. Paddy’s Day last year than they do on a typical day.
