  • SAG Award nominee and comedian Sarah Silverman recently took to YouTube to make her case on why she endorses Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders for the President of the United States. In a calm, composed tone Silverman uses her time not urging you to vote, but asks of those watching to see their vote as valuable. And although her video is in full support of Bernie, she asks that whomever you side with to just vote (for Bernie).

  • “Hillary had always been my choice. I’m a feminist. Democratic, woman president? Yes, please! But she takes a lot of money from big corporations and banks, the very people she says she’s going to stand up to.”

  • Silverman addresses that she originally accepted this fact as a “necessary evil” because it is “the way it is” since politicians can take money from big money since it was made legal by Citizens United.

  • “If all the ball players are taking steroids then you have to take steroids too to compete, right?”

  • While many of the other candidates are taking money from Super PACs, Silverman goes on to share her support of Bernie who doesn’t.

  • “Bernie is not for sale. This man is running for president on a platform that is just a giant fuck you to the above-the-law billionaire class who have been controlling government policy with their money and not paying a nickel in taxes through government loop holes they secure with said money.”

  • For those who shout atop their soapboxes exclaiming Bernie is a socialist Democrat, Silverman addresses the presidential candidate’s policies diplomatically for the benefit of all Americans who desire good healthcare and an education for their children, as a right, not a privilege or charity.

  • “Don’t worry! Under President Sanders you can still become a super rich asshole, it’s just that your fellow hard-working citizens don’t have to feed their children cat food in order for you to do it.”

At this time, USA Today reports that Hillary is up 50.8 points in the polls over Bernie’s 43.6. While on the Republican side, Donald Trump is ahead of the pack with 42.2 points with Ted Cruz trailing at 31.6 and John Kaisch at 18.6.
