The Elon Musk/Lonely Island Mash-Up We Didn’t Know We Needed

SpaceX made history when it successfully landed a Falcon 9 rocket on a drone ship last Friday. But the real story here is that SpaceX CEO and the internet’s favorite fancy man, Elon Musk, tweeted a link to a video of the landing set to Lonely Island classic, “I’m On A Boat.”

Elon Musk promptly deleted the tweet, leaving all of us to wonder what we ever did to deserve this.

For those of you who have been living under a rock since 2009, or maybe if you hate culture, The Lonely Island’s “I’m On A Boat (ft. T-Pain)” is a jam on par with “Call Me Maybe” and “Hips Don’t Lie.” Elon – you’re a genius, but you were a damn fool to delete that perfect tweet.
