Check Out These Commercials from LeBron James and Kobe Bryant!

This week we have not one but TWO trendy new commercials featuring professional basketball players.

First up is LeBron James going “undercover” as an employee who’s training on his first day and has no idea what basketball even is, while a string of customers put in a valiant effort to act like they don’t know they’re being served pizza by LeBron James. (I like the guy called Fernando who has sweat standing out on his forehead the whole time.)

LeBron was an initial investor in Blaze Pizza and will serve as the company’s spokesperson as they seek to become “as big as Starbucks.”

We also had this offering from Kobe Bryant and actor Michael B. Jordan, watching an Apple TV and debating how Jordan should play Kobe in an upcoming film, with the punchline being (spoiler!) that Kobe is an old athlete facing the decline of his career.

There is no actual Kobe Bryant film coming up that we know of, but we’d probably watch it.
