  • Queen Bey’s fans, known as the Beyhive, have been nonstop buzzing about the newest rumor that Jay-Z has cheated with fashion designer Rachel Roy. After Beyonce’s visual album, Lemonade, was released, fans were on a quest to find “Becky with the good hair.”

Hours after the release, Roy posted a photo on Instagram with the caption, “Good hair don’t care, but we will take good lighting, for selfies, or self truths, always. live in the light #nodramaqueens.”

Hmm…it seems like this fashionista is really the source of starting drama. Like most singers, it’s almost expected that Beyonce’s lyrics would reflect whatever she’s been through in her life, especially her husband’s infidelity.

  • Soon after the photo was posted, Roy deleted it and attempted to stay out of the spotlight for a bit until she released a statement.

“I want to put the speculation and rumors to rest. My Instagram post was meant to be fun and lighthearted; it was misunderstood as something other than that. There is no validity to the idea that the song references me personally. There is no truth to the rumors.”

Eh, that’s debatable. When The View recently discussed this hot topic, Whoopi Goldberg defends Beyonce, saying she didn’t name names. In fact, someone else named themselves.

“If you put stuff on social media, this is what happens,” says Goldberg. “She’s not dumb. She knows what the deal is.”

Roy goes on to discuss how the song has victimized her. “Consequently, online haters have targeted me and my daughters in a hurtful and scary manner, including physical threats. As a mother — and I know many mothers would agree — I feel that bullying in any form is harmful and unacceptable.”

  • Lesson learned, hopefully. Don’t claim the “good hair” name if you don’t want repercussions. The Beyhive will sting.
