A Girl’s “Corn on the Drill” Video Went Horribly Wrong

Take note, aspiring viral video creators: power tools are not toys.

A Chinese girl was trying to recreate that old “How to Eat Corn in 10 Seconds” stunt, where you skewer corn on the cob with a power drill and hold the spinning cob up to your teeth.

Putting a power drill next to your teeth already sounds like a nightmare to me, but this girl had an entirely different problem – she forgot to tie back her long hair before she tried the stunt.

You can imagine what happens next.

There’s now a second video of the girl at the doctor’s office, sheepishly explaining what happened while he treats the huge, raw bald spot on the top of her head.

According to the unofficial Reddit translation squad, the doctor tells her the hair will probably grow back in six months or so.

In the meantime, she’d better invest in lots of cute hats.
