Shaq Somehow Convinces Lyft Passengers That He Is Anyone Other Than Shaq

Lyft, the Pepsi of ride-sharing services, has an entertaining web series called Undercover Lyft. In the series, famous athletes don silly disguises and give rides to people who apparently either suffer from severe face-blindness or have literally never been in the same room as a TV with ESPN on.

Past guests have included NASCAR driver Danica Patrick, Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant, and Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman. But this time, they’ve outdone themselves: they wrangled possibly the most recognizable American athlete of the last twenty years into a series of wigs, and still fooled people. Come on, people of Atlanta! It’s Shaq! You know, legendary rapper/actor/occasional basketball player Shaq! Is Atlanta really so full of 7’2″, 350-pound dudes that you got into a car with one and thought it was anyone other than Shaq?

Whether Atlanta’s Lyft passengers are suffering from brain damage or this video is a clever fake remains to be seen. All we know for sure is that Shaq really, really can’t do a Jamaican accent.
