Incredible America’s Got Talent Performance Receives Standing Ovation

Now can someone please go find him somebody to love?

  • America’s Got Talent is in its 11th season, but still managing to go strong. A lot of viewers’ habits may have shifted over from watching on the TV to watching the clip highlights posted the next day, but that’s still very much worth our while.

Case in point: the above audition from aspiring singer Brian Justin Crum.

Before auditioning, Crum tells a touching story about struggling with being bullied for being gay and wanting to be a singer in high school. He thanks his mom in the audience for always supporting him, and signals to host Nick Cannon that he’s ready to go. This is always the point where we wait, holding our breaths, to find out if the performer is going to be a hit or a joke. But Brian Justin Crum is no joke, and his rendition of Queen’s “Somebody to Love” has everyone on their feet applauding by the end.
