Slut-shaming: not just for Kim Kardashian anymore.
Fitness instructor Liz Krueger had an Instagram post go viral recently in which she describes the encounters she had at a wedding while wearing a body contour dress. A screenshot is below; here’s a link to the original post:

The post has stirred up controversy, with people taking all sides. There’s the reasonable argument that no one should be shamed or harassed for what they wear; the nearly as reasonable argument that she was at a wedding and could have worn something a little less attention-grabbing — these things are supposed to be about the happy couple, after all — and the totally unreasonable argument that WOMEN ARE BAD WE SHOULD YELL AT THEM.
Krueger has taken advantage of her moment in the spotlight, speaking out about her experience on Us Weekly and starting the hashtag #KruegerKindness on Twitter to encourage others to be kind to one another instead of bullying them. Way to somehow be both altruistic and self-serving, Liz!
