Selena Gomez is a famous person that most people like. She does endearing appearances on late night talk shows. Justin Bieber, on the other hand, has few defenders left outside his manic circle of Beliebers. Mostly, we just like to watch him fall down. That’s part of what makes this feud between the ex-lovers so one-sided.
Our host Ava Gordy has the whole story in the video above, but to sum up: J-Biebs started posting a bunch of pics on Instagram of himself and his underage girlfriend, Sofia Richie, hanging out in a car. The pics are cute… until you remember that she’s 17 and he’s 22, and that’s illegal or borderline illegal most places in the U.S.
People started calling Bieber out on Instagram for this creepiness, so he posted this as a caption to one of his photos:
“I’m gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don’t stop the hate this is getting out of hand, if you guys are really fans you wouldn’t be so mean to people that I like”
Enter Selena Gomez. She commented the following on the same post:
“If you can’t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol -it should be special between you two only. Don’t be mad at your fans. They love you and supported you before any one ever did.”
Justin FIRED BACK:
“It’s funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way. Sad. All love.”
Selena FIRED BACK HARDER:
“Funny how the ones that cheated multiple times, are pointing the finger at the ones that were forgiving and supportive, no wonder fans are mad. Sad. All love.”

The hashtag #SelenaEndedJustinParty quickly trended worldwide. Bieber, for his part, has not responded to the controversy, and as far as we know is still a creepy dude dating a 17-year-old.
