Comedian Proves Psychics Are Full of Sh*t With Hilarious Prank

Everyone who has ever claimed to be a professional psychic is a liar preying on vulnerable people. They’re all con artists and they can go straight to hell. (The only exception is the occasional person who recognizes it’s all a big joke, like Emily Heller pretending to be psychic with Reggie Watts.) That’s what makes this video cross the line from “dickishness” to “pure comedy.”

Travis Thompson, better known as TravQue, is a star of Vine and other social media platforms. His latest video, which has been taking off on Twitter, Instagram (especially a repost by WorldStarHipHop), and Reddit, features him testing out the bona fides of a psychic. I don’t want to spoil how he does it — you’ll just have to watch the video above — but safe to say, the psychic never saw it coming.

While we can’t condone the rest of TravQue’s videos, which mostly just feature him screaming at strangers for no reason, this one is gold.

This isn’t the first time someone has called out psychics in comic fashion. If you’ve spent a lot of time on the internet, you’ve no doubt seen this short video of a French TV host confronting a psychic “charlatan”:

And the legendary James Randi has been tearing down self-professed psychics and telekinetics for decades:

TravQue’s video might not be as exhaustive as Randi’s videos, but it’s pretty funny nonetheless. Take that, fake psychics! (AKA all psychics.)
