In case you didn’t know, when you embarrass your home country at the Olympics, the best way to seek redemption is on live television. So ABC’s Dancing With the Stars recruited Ryan Lochte.
Team USA’s former poster boy competed on DWTS last night during the spooooooky Halloween special. Which was great and all, until he hit us with that hell of a cha-cha face. It’s like the dance of the Evil Prince in Swan Lake only with a few less feathers.

Ry Ry even spoke on Good Morning America this morning about his DWTS experience. Apparently you really can dance your troubles away.
“No matter how hard I get knocked down, I can still get up and keep fighting, and just keep moving and staying positive,” said Lochte. “I had her [Cheryl Burke] to really help me with that, ’cause I did get knocked down. I was at the lowest point in my life. But I mean, I’m here, I lasted until week eight.”

Well isn’t that sweet! I guess after the Rio fiasco Ryan thought he should take some ~steps~ to be taken more seriously as an artist. See what I did there? :p
