Rory Scovel Just Had One of the Best Late Night Stand-Up Sets Ever

We don’t cover stand-up comedy all that often here at What’s Trending. Other than whatever funny or wildly offensive sh*t Amy Schumer is up to, unless it’s monumental, it’s not exactly on our “beat.”

This stand-up set from Rory Scovel, though? It’s monumental. Check it out right here:

Scovel went on TBS’ Conan last night, which was broadcasting from the Apollo in New York rather than its usual Los Angeles set. And he killed about as hard as I’ve ever seen anyone kill — and I watch a lot of stand-up.

Rory Scovel has a couple clips of his great crowd work on YouTube already, but this clip takes it to another level. He gets real personal with the audience, going as far as to wander into the crowd, stand on their chairs, and some other funny stuff I won’t spoil.

As for the jokes themselves: I’ll let you watch the video for yourself and get some laughs in. Once you’ve watched the video, I’ll share my favorite line.
