Peak Australia: This Guy Punches a Kangaroo for Grabbing His Dog

Sometimes you just have to roll up with your crew and punch a kangaroo. Thus begins an actual story, and not the best Australian rap song. See, when a kangaroo takes your dog, you gotta get that dog back. And sometimes vengeance can go a bit overboard. This is proof. It’s also proven that dogs hate being hugged, so this situation was extra yucky for the pup.

The licensors of the video, ViralHog, released a statement in the YouTube description:

“A group of hunters got together to help a young cancer sufferer (terminal diagnosis) with his last wish of catching a 100 kg (220 pound) wild boar with his dogs… one of the highly trained dogs was chasing some pigs by scent and collided with a big buck kangaroo that then held and wrestled the dog by its protective gear… the owner was horrified that his dog or the kangaroo would get hurt and run [sic] in to save both parties… Our 6 foot 7 inch friend felt no malice to the kangaroo but had to step in and fix a bad situation before it got worse.”
