  • When a foot of snow fell on Portland, Oregon last night, people were overjoyed — school was cancelled, the air got a fresh nip in it, and best of all, the animals of the zoo got to have a great time, as caught on Portland’s cameras giving us a new favorite in a genre — animals goofing in snow.

With no humans to bother them and more than a foot of snow to play around in— seals, otters, polar bears and even an Asian elephants rolled, frolicked and rolled around. This is the ultimate in cute videos. Every sweet little creature you can imagine is just having the time of its life in the freezing cold. Some of them aren’t even native to snow bound areas, but they find the joy in the moment just the same.

    Very zen. And very cute.
