  • During the SAG awards last night, there were a series of unbelievable speeches from the likes of Julia Louis Dreyfus, Mahershala Ali and others. Yet it was a speech by David K. Harbour, the actor who played the sheriff in the much adored, and now SAG Award winning, Stranger Things.

The speech was a powerful testament to the glory of art, as Trump and the immigration crisis is never mentioned by name, yet the punching of bullies, a noble act and a reference to the punching of Richard Spencer, the alt right leader with a reference to punching bullies. It was a beautiful speech, especially in an era where we try to grasp for meaning in an increasingly chaotic world.

All that and it gave us Winona Ryder’s unforgettable range of expressions.
