Trump Makes Up Terrorist Attack In Sweden, @Sweden Responds

  • Yesterday, during a speech President Trump has made a deeply confusing allusion to some kind of terrorist attack in Sweden, even though there was none such attack to be had! When caught on the lie, the president made allusions that this is something he saw on Fox News in a Tweet he posted to his personal Twitter feed— a Twitter feed maybe best known to the kids of the future as “I can’t believe this is the thing that started World War II”. You can see the Tweet above.

    Then the weirdness started coming in. Sweden’s Twitter feed is manned every week by a different Swede at the handle @Sweden. And this week it was manned by a young man named Karlsson Marx who had the deeply unenviable position of having to explain why Sweden does not have a migrant problem to Trump’s many fans — many of whom are white supremacists.
