DuckTales Reboot Releases First DisneyXD Clip

McDuck is McBack! Scrooge McBack that is! And so is Donald, Launchpad McQuack, Webby Webigale, and of course everyone’s favorite talking duck triplets (I’m assuming), Huey, Dewey and Louie, all in the first clip for the upcoming Disney XD version of DuckTales. We’ve heard the theme song, now we can see the show

A few things about this new version that instantly spring up — borrowing a page from the original Carl Barks comics on which DuckTales was derived from, Donald is again a hapless star and adventurer (in this world, respected no less!). Scrooge McDuck’s adventuring days are behind him, as his nephews pull him out of his funk and into— a submarine! Oh yeah!

We get glimpses of a few other characters and locales —but no Magica DeSpell, Beagle Boys, or Glomgold. We do get a blob of snakes, and I’m sure those aforementioned villains will show up sooner rather than later.
