The new Nintendo Switch cartridges taste terrible! So get that Super Mario Odyssey cartridge out of your mouth, and read on gentle soul.
It began after a game journalist got an early change to try out the Nintendo Switch and put the cartridge in his mouth, and he Tweeted this out—

Kotatu then did a video where they attempt to place the cartridge in their mouth, and indeed, it seems like it left a bitter, bitter taste. Look at this poor pained man.

Nintendo’s exact quote —
“To avoid the possibility of accidental ingestion, keep the game card away from your children. A bittering agent (denatonium benzoate) has also been applied to the game card. The bitter agent is non toxic.”
