The duo sits down to discuss the use of reenactions to recreate archival footage, confronting difficult feelings when create a documentary of this kind of magnitude, and the influence that Warren G has had on rap music and music in general. Warren G mentions Kendrick Lamar and Drake as two artists he feels are carrying his torch and saying “the work we did… it paid off… in guiding a lot of new artists in the right direction.” It’s a wonderful interview. Warren G then answers questions from fans, helping them solve personal problems.
