  • Mick Fleetwood is a musician whose influence is felt throughout generations for his accomplishments as part of the legendary band Fleetwood Mac, and he is here to promote his new book surrounding the history of Fleetwood Mac, titled “Love That Burns — A Chronicle of Fleetwood Mac”, the first volume in a series surrounding the history of the band.

Mick Fleetwood discusses with Shira Lazar the history of the British Invasion, early influences on both the band and himself, his fellow band members, and many many stories from his days in this legendary band. Things get emotional as Shira asks him about any regrets in the artist’s life, and he discusses his wish for his availability to his daughters and elsewhere. Mick Fleetwood then gives his quick takes on the industry, and the complicated nature of many new trends in music streaming, and his feelings on Beyoncé and Adele (he loves them!).

Shira Lazar has been in conversation with creators and entrepreneurs all weekend at SXSW including Scott Aukerman, Warren G and many more. You can check them out at Comcast’s Facebook page, and make sure to leave a comment or follow What’s Trending on Twitter at @WhatsTrending.
