  • America has a love hate relationship with the TSA. Or maybe more of a tolerate/ hate. They’re our line of defense against people bringing stuff on a plane, absolutely. But the paranoid invasiveness of certain TSA pat downs have Americans on high alert. We’re on alert of terrorists AND the invasive actions of the force trying to stop us. It’s too stressful.

And too stressful are very mild words to discuss the morning that Jennifer Williamson and her son Aaron had at the Dallas Fort Worth airport, after her son was extensively patted down following a found laptop. Aaron had no indication he was carrying any weapon or anything beyond what was shown, and the pat down was later described by the mother as traumatic:

“These power tripping TSA agents who are traumatizing children and doing whatever they feel like without any cause, need to be reined in.”
