‘I Am: Heath Ledger’ Trailer Released

A new trailer has dropped for the documentary, I Am: Heath Ledger, which features lots of home video footage shot by Heath Ledger himself and interviews with his friends and family.

Heath Ledger passed away in 2008 when he was 28 years old, but he left behind a string of amazing performances.

Ledger first captured audience’s attention in movies like 10 Things I Hate About You, and A Knight’s Tale, and eventually was nominated for his performance in “Brokeback Mountain.” Ledger also left and indelible mark in the comic book world with his unique portrayal of The Joker in The Dark Knight Rises.

I Am: Heath Ledger examines both the star’s tragically short career and his life behind the film cameras. The film is set to premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York on April 23rd. After that, it will air on SpikeTV on May 17th.

Though I’m sure this documentary will be difficult for some to watch, fans online are already excited for its release.
