Bowler Breaks Record: 12 Strikes in 86.9 Seconds

What comes to your mind when you think of brilliant bowling? Is it grit? Determination? Extremely pure skill? All three molded together into one glorious cocktail of madness and fevered excellence? Is this what comes to mind when you see Ben Ketola break this incredible world record and— at the mere age of 23 — create 12 strikes in 86.9 second?

Incredible.

How did he do it? Working at the bowling alley didn’t hurt — as Ben got to practice regularly, playing up to fifty games a week! Ben was inspired to commit to this after seeing a video of pro bowler Tom Daugherty do the same in 111 seconds and, reportedly, Ben just wanted to recreate the stunt, with no eye on breaking the record! And yet! Break the record he did! Wonderful.
