Snapchat has just introduced some exciting new features! Before you read any further, get your Snapchat ready so we can enjoy this new update together.
In a press release, Snapchat stated the new features would serve to reduce frustration and increase creativity.
We’ve all felt the frustration of not being able to fully enjoy a Snap – even after replaying it – and we wanted to give you the option of allowing the recipient to enjoy your Snap as long as they’d like.
That’s right. Along with a new “Magic Eraser” and “Loop” tool, Snapchat is giving users the option to create “limitless snaps!” Though it kind of defeats the initial purpose of Snapchat, at least we won’t have to resort to screenshots? I’m trying to see the good in this, but I just find it weird that Snapchat would just get rid of their initial concept!
The feature I am most excited for is the “Loop” tool. We’ve all been there. Having to replay snaps because we didn’t hear or see what was going on the first time. With this new feature, Snaps will continue to play until you are ready to tap to the next. Just hope that the user on the other side decides to turn the “Loop” feature on.
Since I love y’all so much, I decided to try some of the new features for myself. Here’s the best I could come up. I am clearly no artist.

What do you think of these new features? I’m excited, but I also hate having to get used to new updates. I was already so comfortable with Snapchat’s old format, but the screen just looks so crowded now. Here’s to the app’s next update! Until then, enjoy your limitless snaps.
