Fat Monkey Named Uncle Fatty Sent To Fat Camp

There are two questions on the lips of anyone who sees this macaque lovingly named “Uncle Fatty” — a monkey near Bangkok’s floating market who weighs 33 pounds (twice the weight of an average macaque). The first — is Uncle Fatty happy? The second — how did Uncle Fatty get so fat!? The third — is Uncle Fatty happy? I know that question has already been asked, but it’s an important one!

A Thai conservation group called Monkey Lovers (great name) has raised concerns about uncle Fatty’s weight (aka, the origin of his nick name no less!), and how he gained this much weight due to the fact that tourists feed him junk — milkshakes, candy and the likes, and Uncle Fatty is so lazy now that he just waits for these tourists to bring him this food!

Oh Uncle Fatty. Your gigantic belly is terrifying because you are a tiny monkey. I hope you have a very good time at Monkey Fat Camp where you’re going to come out buff as all heck and beat the living bejesus out of me for ever mocking you to begin with.

Please save me from Uncle Fatty when he becomes buff and beats the living boogers out of me.
