Folks, look — we all love a good reconciliation — but a reconciliation between celebs? Now that’s exciting, and that’s exactly what we got at the Billboard Musical Awards last night after Drake flirted on stage with rapper/generous soul, Nicki Minaj. Drake said “I want to say that Vanessa Hudgens, you look incredible tonight”, to which Nicki Minaj mouthed “Excuse me? What about me?”

Drake saw this and continued “Nicki Minaj, I’m so glad we found our way back, because I love you and I could never, ever see it any other way”. Beautiful. Why, these things falling out of my eyes? Tears? Are they— yes! Tears! It’s beautiful to see these two brilliant, sensitive soul artists reunite and show the human emotion we all collectively call “love” to each other. Glorious.

Drake later, during an acceptance speech, brought Nicki Minaj up on stage and called her “the love of his life”. Boo hoo, my eyes declare — boo hoo! Drake later went on to take home 13 awards, and our eyeballs.. with…. and I can’t stress this enough— tears!
