  • Ariana Grande’s One Love For Manchester benefit concert Sunday was emotional, inspiring and incredible to say the least! All the funds from the show will be going to help the victims of the May 22nd terrorist attack at Grande’s show at the Manchester Arena.

The event held at Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester, was Ariana’s first appearance since the attack which killed 22 people, many of which were children and wounded dozens of others. Ariana has been visiting many of those wounded and posting images of love and support to her own Instagram.

According to the organizers, the benefit concert raised 2.6 million which contributed to the 12.6 million raised so far. Supporters could donate through the onelovemanchester.com site and many others were donating live via Facebook.

At one point, when we were tuning in there was over half a million people watching live. The Facebook live stream alone currently has over 56 million views.

“I want to thank you so much for coming together and being strong,” Grande said. “I love you guys so much, and I think the kind of love and unity you’re displaying is the medicine the world needs right now.”

Other stars and friends of Grande came to perform on stage and show their support including Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Coldplay, and Black-Eyed Peas. There was also a surprise appearance by Manchester’s own Liam Gallagher.

Only 24 hours earlier, another terrorist attack occurred in London less than 200 miles away, killing seven with 21 who remain in critical condition.
