Folks, are you tired of being seen in your normal every day clothes? Do you wish you could step out on the town in a glorious dress made not of fabrics — but of watermelon!? I know it’s the only thing I’m thinking of near daily! Just wearing a sweet, delicious watermelon as I get beset and swarmed by hungry insects swarming me. Okay, so my version of a watermelon dress isn’t exactly the greatest. But the #WatermelonDress trend on Instagram is!
The idea behind it is simple — you take photos from a forced perspective as watermelon cut into the shape of dresses, hats, what have you — is placed in front of a model to make it look as if they are wearing a fair amount of watermelon. And we at the What’s Trending offices just had to try it four ourselves! Watch Alex (me) in a beautiful watermelon hat! Watch Shira in a glorious watermelon gown! And Adam having no idea why he’s in a dress made out of that delicious fruit — you know it. We love it. We’re talking about… the watermelon!
