The Rugrats are BACK!!!

Nickelodeon is slowly bringing back all of its beloved 90’s fixtures — unveiling their returns as if it was beloved heroes returning from battle, here to delight you with weird and very grounded schoolyard adventures. Hey Arnold is of course about to unveil his big jungle adventure and Legends of the Hidden Temple is also set to return. And now another 90’s fixture returns — The Rugrats are back in a comic book released by Kaboom!

Now at first glance you go “A comic book!!?! I want to see these new Rugrats in action”, but a few things about this make it the perfect return of these beloved 90’s characters — the first is this is a comic book from Kaboom, and if you’re a fan of good comics, you remember their incredible Adventure Time output — and the other thing is the comic book is written by Box Brown, whose fantastic biographical comics — from Andre the Giant to the one about the creator of Tetris — are fantastic.

Beyond anything else, we’re just happy to see the Rugrats return. Tommy Pickles, Chuckie Finster, Phil, Lil and of course Angelica. As a 90’s kid, it’s nice to see all these great cartoons return.
