  • A man in Hialeah, Florida, shot out the tires of two AT&T trucks working in front of his home.

AT&T workers called 911 when a man emerged from his house with a revolver.

Jorge Jove, a 64-year-old retired firefighter, calmly shot out the tires on both trucks, then calmly shot into the grille of one truck, shooting 18 times in all. Oh, and by the way, there was a worker trapped above him the entire time.

Hello! There’s a person stuck 30 feet in the air next to power lines relying on those tires.

What was bothering Jorge so much that he had to pull out his gun?

Jove told police he was upset because the trucks were parked in front of his driveway, and he feared damage to his pavers. About an hour after “having words” with one of the workers, Jove came out with .357 revolver and caused over $1,000 of damage to the trucks.

But the trouble doesn’t end there for Jorge. He now faces charges of aggravated assault with a firearm and armed criminal mischief, and posted a $30,000 bond.

$31,000 to prevent a cracked paver stone? Was it really worth it, Jorge? Was it?
