Film Theorists Calculate HOW MUCH MONEY SCROOGE MCDUCK HAS

We know Scrooge McDuck is the richest duck in Duckburg, but what do we know beyond that about just how much money the fictional super rich mallard actually has? The comics and the cartoons tend to provide amounts that are purposefully sort of fake (the first time his money is counted, he is told he is worth “one multiplujillion, nine obsquatumatillion, six hundred and twenty-three dollars and sixty two cents), but once in a while a real amount sneaks in. The Film Theorists know how deep the bin is — they know how tall Scrooge McDuck is — and they do the math to figure out some of the amounts this character could be worth, and the final amount — fair warning folks — is ridiculous.

This is The Film Theorists’ first sponsored video with Disney, and it’s fun to see them apply their as usual well researched super logic on a character we all adore. And also, boy is Scrooge McDuck rich? Can he come and save us all from our current troubles? Or would he make it worse? Or would he just look for a huge diamond? I just don’t know.

All of this is tied into this weekend’s release of the new DuckTales show on Disney XD, so watch the video, find out the amount, and go in just straight up knowing it. Of course, the amount can change from just one good atomic blast from The Beagle Boys or one magic trick from Magica DeSpell, so keep it all in the air for now.
