Aw, no! Say it ain’t so! I already miss when this show is going to leave us a few years from now! Stranger Things has been one of TV’s true bonafide hits — and not for zero reason. The adventures of five kids in the 1980’s going up against an overwhelming supernatural force inspired by Steven Spielberg, Guillermo Del Toro and Stephen King is made brilliantly, with great humanity and spirit, and when it returned we celebrated — but could it be it could be ending sooner than we thought? If you believe Ross Duffer — one half of Stranger Things creators The Duffer Bros — Stranger Things might be over in only four years!
“We’re thinking it will be a four-season thing and then out”, Ross Duffer told Vulture. No! Oh but why? Well, apparently it’s to not stretch the believability of this fun fantasy and sci-fi fi show too much. “I don’t know if we can justify something bad happening to them once a year”, explained Ross. Okay, alright. But how can you justify this bad thing happening to me every year: me not getting more Stranger Things! Explain that, buddy!
