Dinosaur Suit Wearing Protesters March In Front of White House

  • As the conversation continues for what the right way to protest is — if there is or isn’t a right way to protest or what the right way would or wouldn’t be — just remember — you can make any protest style more correct by adding dinosaur costumes to the mix. And that’s exactly what happened! The people dressed as dinosaurs — 100 in total — came marching across the White House lawn holding a sign that said “Stop National Service Extinction”. The dinosaurs were protesting proposed cuts to the national service programs such as Americorps or the Service Year alliance — which encourage younger people to take part in community service programs.

    Using dinosaurs to protest the extinction of a government program, is certainly unique, and that surreal t-rex costume has been a staple of the internet for a little while, and it’s good to see them used for social purposes! Viva la dinosaurs! Viva! Viva!
