Kevin Hart has revealed that due to someone is trying to extort him for millions of dollars to keep a sexually suggestive video from being released to the public.
Hart publicly apologized to his wife and children in an Instagram video explaining the situation, saying—
”I’m at a place in my life where I feel like I have a target on my back, and because of that, I should make smart decisions. And, recently, I didn’t. I made a bad error in judgement and I put myself in an environment where only bad things can happen, and they did. I’m not gonna allow a person to have financial gain off of my mistakes, and in this particular situation that’s what was attempted. And I said I’d rather fess up to my mistakes.
The extortionist has released a video to TMZ which shows Hart in sexually suggestive situations. The video begins with this photo of a woman and a man that resembles Hart. The audio throughout the video is of a radio interview with Hart, where he discusses being unfaithful in his first marriage and saying cheating is too risky in his current marriage.
After the still image, the video gets more graphic.
TMZ reports, “The video cuts to a bedroom scene where it appears 2 people are having sex on a bed. You can’t see the people in the bed, but afterward you see a naked man walking in the room and it definitely looks like Kevin.”
The extortionist is just claiming that they are trying to expose Kevin Hart as a hypocrite, a liar, and fraud. Hart’s infidelity has caused a controversy in the past.
Kevin was married to Torrei Hart from 2003 to 2011. Though Hart remains close with his ex, Torrei has long spoken out that Hart was cheating on her with Eniko Parrish. Kevin Hart and Eniko Parrish got married in 2016. This year, on their anniversary, Eniko let it slip that she and Hart had been together for the last to years of his previous marriage.
While Kevin Hart might have cheated on his pregnant wife, the extortionist also admits they just want some money. At the end of the video, the extortioner explains, “The real reason Kevin Hart orchestrated the Texas Hurricane Relief Fund, this so-called good deed was done to get ahead as he knew this damaging footage was one click away from being exposed as the liar and cheater he is. Kevin Hart was privy to me wanting to expose him as I have made countless attempts to expose this information to various blogs, in an attempt to also get paid.”
Yes, the person trying to blackmail Kevin Hart is trying to get a taste of that Harvey relief money.
Not only that, but they’re trying to claim the only reason Hart challenged celebrities to each donate hundreds of thousands of dollars to charity was to look like a good guy before his sex tape came out.
Whether it was for the good press or because it’s just the right thing to do, Kevin Hart raised over $800,000 dollars for Harvey relief.
Hart has had to address false cheating rumors in the past.
Earlier this year, Hart was filmed speaking to a woman in the back seat of a car he was in, which was sold to the press as proof that Hart was cheating. At the time, Hart laughed off the rumor on Instagram with this meme, “At the end of the day, you gotta laugh at the BS.”
But now that someone has attempted to extort Kevin Hart, the FBI has gotten involved.
Reportedly, the FBI has a suspect in custody, but it is unclear what her connection is to the case.
