  • Shad Moss, aka Bow Wow, is being roasted on social media for posting a photoshopped collage of himself along with the former line-up of Death Row Records.

Bow Wow posted a series of photos on Monday night of himself a boy with artists on Death Row Records.

Bow Wow shared this photo featuring the biggest stars signed to Death Row in the early 1990s, including Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Tupac Shakur, and for some reason, Lil’ Bow Wow.

The original image is from VIBE Magazine’s iconic photo spread on Death Row from February 1996. Bow Wow also shared a few other tweets, in case you doubt that he was ever a part of  the Death Row family.

He followed up the Death Row photo with this snapshot of himself hanging out with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, as well as this screenshot of him in the video for “Gin N’ Juice.”

Clearly, the biggest mistake was not waiting until Throwback Thursday.

A few people on Twitter were quick to call out Bow Wow for trying to put himself amongst some of rap’s most legendary names. Other people put Bow Wow into other famous line-ups like the Avengers and the cast of Friends, and also put him in the last photograph taken of Tupac Shakur.

Lin-Manuel Miranda‏ even joked about Bow Wow while posing for a photo, tweeting, “Not to pull a Bow Wow but when you’re in front of a wall full of greats like this you have to genuflect.”  Comedy Central trolls Bow Wow by adding in MC Mom from Key & Peele, and Complex simply says, “Oh no Bow Wow what is you doin”

As for Bow Wow, he claims the photo was made by someone else. In a response to Twitter comments, Bow Wow explains, “Fact. Fan sent me the pic its not the original from VIBE. I’m like damn, it just took me back. I was part of some legendary shit. Blessed.”

Of course, Bow Wow has been called out for social media stunts before. In May, Bow Wow posted this photo to his Instagram of a private plane he said he was boarding to New York City, but he was caught posting someone else’s photo while sitting in coach class of a regular commercial flight. When Bow Wow was called out for the plane photo, he didn’t seem to care much that he got caught.

Bow Wow told HolloywoodLife.com, “Today they put up a story about me not coming to New York in a private plane … but I know how I got to New York, you know what I mean? So it’s like … what do I have to prove?”
