Ever since retiring, David Letterman has become a figure of mystery, roaming the country side, his white beard gleaming in the distance as retiring him has made him, in his words, a “hermit”. David Letterman shares stories from the world of retirement — from giving, in his words, bad show business gifts to his late night friends to trying to make the lives of people around him a little bit better. Letterman even goes into the now famous story of giving Conan O’Brien a horse! He claims the horse was just there to take a dump on Conan’s stage and trot out of there, but Conan decided to keep it! Oh, Letterman. You big old scamp.
