  • It’s official, folks. Justin Timberlake will headline the Pepsi Super Bowl LII Halftime Show on February 4, 2018.

News of Timberlake returning to the Super Bowl started circulating last month, but was finally confirmed by the NFL and the singer, himself. As you can imagine, audiences don’t really know how to feel about this announcement. Some are incredibly excited, and that’s okay. Others, want #JusticeForJanet and that’s perfectly okay, too!

  • Of course, audiences are split because of Nipplegate — the atrocity of a halftime performance between Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson in 2004. In short, Timberlake accidentally — or was it — pulled off part of Jackson’s wardrobe, exposing her breast. The aftermath of that performance resulted in Jackson being blacklisted and Timberlake not experiencing much blame at all.

Now that Timberlake has been confirmed for the Super Bowl, fans of Jackson want #JusticeForJanet. Why is Timberlake being welcomed back, if Jackson is still banned from performing? This makes no sense…
