  • The tide of America, if yesterday’s elections in Virginia are any proof, could not be turning any harder against Trumpism. There were many historic wins yesterday. Chris Hurst being elected to the statehouse was one of them. Chris Hurst, whose girlfriend was shot live on air, ran on a progressive platform and beat a candidate with an A rating from the NRA. Lt. Governor Ralph S. Northam beat out disgusting mega racist Ed Gillepsie and Marine Veteran Lee Carter brought a win to the democratic socialists. Most impressively however is the victory of Danica Roem, a 33 year old former journalist who beat out Robert G. Marshall, author of Virginia’s anti-trans bathroom bill that died in office, essentially prohibiting trans people from using the public restrooms of their gender.

Roem addressed the spectacular significance of her victory over a gigantic bigot saying, “Discrimination is a disqualifier… This is about the people of the 13th District disregarding fear tactics, disregarding phobias . . . where we celebrate you because of who you are, not despite it.” Marshall, during the campaign, refused to debate Roem and referred to her by male pronouns. Now he is just some shlub who lives in Virginia. When asked if he harbors any ill feelings towards him, Roem had this incredible burn.

  • Damn! You got owned, Marshall. You piece of work!
