While it’s not completely clear who started this new holiday trend — arguably, SpongeBob SquarePants — one thing is for sure. People are going crazy searching for it on Pinterest! According to Delish, “searches on Pinterest for ‘pineapple Christmas trees’ are up more than 3,406% in 2017 vs. 2016.” Who knows what they’ll be at next year — unless, you know, another tropical fruit creeps into the holiday mix…
