With so much going wrong in the world right now, it’s good someone is focused on what’s truly evil… Santa Claus?
Anti-Santa Pastor, and anti-nostril-hygiene activist, David Grisham thinks families spend too much time focusing on Santa Claus and not enough time focusing on Jesus. Hey man, a lot of people think Christmas is too commercial, but that’s harsh taking your anger out on little kids.
Grishman spends several minutes telling kids that there’s no Santa, and also reminding them about the completely factual and not-in-dispute-at-all Jesus. Eventually, some employees and parents intervened.
This isn’t the first time Pastor David has been a thoughtless windbag on the Internet. He did the same thing last year at a mall in Amarillo, Texas, and back in 2010 he executed Santa by firing squad in a video that we have to admit is pretty damn funny. If you’ve never watched a grown man read a list of fictional crimes to a pinata before, I highly recommend it.
Grisham’s organization, Repent Amarillo, has been labeled a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. He now runs Last Frontier Evangelism and Repent Alaska out of Anchorage. As you would expect, commenters on Facebook have not been kind.
