Although it’s been a question on the tongue on everyone using the platform for the past few years, it increased quite a bit after the president Freudianally bragged about having a bigger nuclear button than Kim Jong Un. So, why doesn’t Twitter ban Donald Trump already?! The question picked up steam after protestors projected “@jack is #complicit”, and the company recently responded in a blog post about the thinking behind their decision to keep Donald Trump, and other world leaders, on their platform.
In a blog entry titled “World Leaders on Twitter,” Twitter heads explain that the statements by world leaders — even if they are abusive to normal citizens, or do stuff like threaten nuclear war — contain important information and advance the conversation. Conversations such as “Christ, are we going to be burned alive because two world leaders are comparing dicks on Twitter” and “Jesus Christ, this country couldn’t elect a woman? For five seconds, just to not get burned alive, elect a woman? Jesus Christ.”

Yes, unbiased. But, you know what’s also unbiased? A frecking nuclear bomb! It blows up all. Ugh. Well, here’s hoping Twitter’s decision doesn’t doom us to a fiery apocalypse.
