VIDEO: Woman Rescues Dog From Ice, Records on GoPro

I love seeing videos with happy endings, and it’s amazing to see GoPro footage of a heroic feat instead of someone falling down a huge mountain or whatnot. This video is beautiful as it shows RSPCA inspector Jaqui Miller crawling on her belly in order to rescue Javi — a beautiful dog trapped in ice. We see her crawl to the dog, break the dog out of there, as she yells encouraging words at him. She breaks Javi from the ice and then is dragged back to land by a rope safely attached to her waist. Although I’m sure the incident was traumatic, neither seems overly fazed by it, as the dog runs back to land and Jaqui Miller lets the dog know she thinks he’s a “silly billy.” It’s actually pretty cut and so powerful.
