Kim Kardashian West Throws Shade at Lamar Odom Over Khloe Kardashian Remarks

Lamar Odom — you should have known better than to come for your ex-wife, Khloé Kardashian, and yet — you still did.

In a preview clip of Lamar Odom’s interview with BET’s ‘Mancave,’ Odom discussed how he knew his relationship with Khloé Kardashian was ultimately over, moving on and more. Check out the clip below.

When the clip was released, social media was quick to tear apart Lamar Odom’s comments regarding Khloé. Specifically, when he said: “I understand when it’s over, it’s over. When she was with her second or third NBA ballplayer, I could see that.”

Now, before we go in on Odom’s comment, consider this. If he would have said, “her second or third relationship,” rather than “NBA ballplayer,” I imagine the response from social media would have been a lot different. It makes me question — did Lamar know what he was implying by saying “NBA ballplayer?” Or, was he just calling the situation like it is? I mean, he is right. Khloé has previously been connected to James Harden, and is now dating/expecting her first child with Tristan Thompson.

Let’s get to the good part of the story, though — Kim Kardashian West.

When Kim was made aware of Lamar’s comments she was quick to throw some shade right back at him. Kim responded by saying, “Or second or third brothel.”

This, of course, was in reference to Lamar’s cheating — which, among other things, led Khloé to file for divorce — and a stint at a brothel in Nevada nearly 3 years ago. The ex-NBA star had overdosed on drugs, including herbal Viagra, and just barely escaped death.

Social media, of course, loved Kim’s response. And, I must admit, I did too. There’s just something about watching drama play out in this family…

While many praised Kim’s response, there are many sides of this argument to consider — 1) Lamar Odom almost died and 2) even in the middle of a divorce, the Kardashian family was quick to care for Odom following his overdose.

So, yes — Kim’s comments was savage. Though it gave all of us plenty of entertainment, the fact of the matter is, Lamar Odom nearly lost his life. Brothel business aside, that is an incredibly sensitive subject.

Back to Lamar — questions about the Kardashian clan will continue. Most likely, for awhile. It wouldn’t hurt to be more careful about how you answer them. And, actually, more careful he was — when asked about Khloé’s pregnancy, Lamar said —

“I’m happy for her. She took care of me. She’ll be a good mother, for real. She’s a great woman.”

If only that response would have received as much attention as his first!
