  • Twitter users are putting their brains and filters to work in the latest viral Instagram photo trend, the Hobby Lobby Challenge.

Once again providing proof that we will do literally anything for the likes, Twitter is flocking to the preferred store of Cosplayers and Great Aunts everywhere in order to strike Internet gold.

The Hobby Lobby Challenge began last month a part of photographer Kelsey Maggart’s submission for the “Ugly Location Challenge.” The Challenge has gone viral, inspiring many photographers and aspiring influencers to get in before we all move onto whatever silly thing we do next.

Many folks have expanded their search for ways to annoy retail employees by visiting Walmart and Michaels, since Hobby Lobby is closed Sundays.

Obviously, viral challenges are nothing new on the Internet, but they also aren’t new in real life, either. Our great grandparents used to stuff themselves in phone booths and got naked to run and called it streaking. And us? Their thankless children? We hide in fake bushes for Instagram.
